English Carnival 2017

During one of our weekly English meeting, Sir Fadzil had address about the upcoming English Carnival somewhere in the month of April 2017.

Therefore, here are some competitions that Sekolah Rendah Islam Hidayah will sent representatives to compete with other schools for this English Carnival.


Not all competitions are good for our students. Hence, we will only be sending the best of the best, the creme de la creme.

  • Storytelling level 1 - SSL, NB
  • Storytelling level 2 - HMK, NAH, AA
  • Poetry recitation level 2 - NZA, NI
  • Scrabble level 2 - TR, RSRI, RH


Lets do the best for our school in this English Carnival. May the best boys / girls win~

Towards the end of the meeting, the top management of the school had made some surprise to the members of English Panel. They are going to organize a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Project for the English Panel to coordinate an English tuition for the students living nearby our school. 


This project is still in discussion. Later we will know the outcome of this CSR Project. Hopefully all is well. 

Speak English With Me Campaign

Early 2017, the English Panel of SRIH had quite a discussion about this 'Speak English With Me' Campaign.

The objective of this campaign is to encourage students and teachers (that will wear the badge / button) to speak in proper English not only during English lesson in class but also outside classroom.



So here are some suggestions from the early days:-

Hopefully this campaign will develop a good English speaking environment, thus making conversing in English a fun and enjoyable activities for everybody.

Voting For Customized Rubber Stamp

On Monday, 23rd January, we finally had a full voting regarding which template should the English Teachers choose for the rubber stamp

It is Teacher NAH's idea for this wonderful customized rubber stamp

First Gotong Royong English Panel

Sir Fadzil had made some announcement on 11th January 2017

InsyaAllah....TODAY...we will have a Gotong Royong.

MAIN OBJECTIVE
:books: Arrange the dictionaries and Repair the torn/damage dictionaries.

Round class - check each class, if there has a box of dictionaries or pieces of dictionaries....please ask the pupil to help and put it at BBM room. We want to collect all the dictionaries.

🦁For Miss and Mdm - Please help repair and clean the dictionaries. Put sellotape, glue, or any suitable tools to be used.

:tiger:NZA - clean and prepare the boxes with new labels. Ask other teachers to help you.

:sos: Don't forget to bring the MASK...for your SAFETY.

Since everybody was so focused on repairing the English dictionaries, only a blurry photo was taken by Madam NI to mark the date and as a proof that some of us did joined the gotong royong on that day

You would not believe how many dictionaries we managed to repair on that day

English Garden Corner

Teacher NZA had to brainstorm about designing the 'English Garden' bunting

The objective of placing this bunting is to create an English corner in every classroom that will have English information and knowledge relevant to students for them to read and go through when they have free time.

It is also a place for the students to show off their artistic artwork as long as it is in English language.

So here are some of the photos that were gathered during the brainstorming session.





After some discussion with the other teachers, Teacher NZA had come up with a better design that focus more on the theme of GARDEN.

As a head panel, my 2nd year was my sucessful year. Thanks for all of your efforts n contributions towards our panel.

My thanks to NAH, for being a diligent secretary. The rest of you, also had become the great teachers & friends.
